Become a recommended on-line trader with the WCU

Their a two ways to become a recommended on-line trader;

Recommendation - visitors to the web consumers union have recommended your business to us on more then one occasion.
FAST TRACK - you can recommend your business. supply us with your address (we will confirm this and check your site). We will then supply you with one of our linked logos. Place this on your site for your customers to use and if we do not receive any negative comments in two months you will be fully recommended by the WCU and in turn to our users. The FAST TRACK does require a £10 administration fee.

Please note. If you would like your review to have a URL direct link to your site (good for SEO) we will charge you £5.

Web consumers union helps your business

Many websites loose sales at the point of purchase from abandoned shopping carts, research suggests two key reasons for this;

The first is overly complex shopping baskets and the second is buyer confidence.

We hope that the Web Consumers Union interactive link logo will help provide additional confidence for consumers in the on-line proportion of your business and will assist in converting visitors to purchasers.

The logo invites visitor to your site to click on the logo where they can check your retailer credentials and that you are a genuine WCU recommended site with positive feedback.

The Web Consumers Union will not recommend any site that has had negative comments made by a community member especially where accusations of fraudulent behaviour such as failure to supply goods, identity or credit card theft or inferior / counterfeit goods have been supplied.

Should you receive a negative comment whilst you are a member we will contact you immediately to here your side of the story, should you or your business appear to be at fault we will remove your listing from the recommended directory and future recommended supplier mailing lists (WE DO NOT ALLOW THE PUBLISHING OF NEGATIVE COMMENTS). Third party discrepancies such as delivery delays and supplier failures are justified reasons for poor service and will not effect your WCU status providing that you kept your customer informed as to the situation and gave the option of full refund in the event of failure to supply. Multiple third party discrepancies will result in listing removal.
